(Nguồn: timeout.com) Trong danh sách đề cử Oscar vừa được công bố ngày 15/1, hai bộ phim “Birdman” và “The Grand Budapest Hotel” đã cũng dẫn đầu với chín hạng mục mỗi phim, bao gồm cả Phim và Đạo diễn xuất sắc nhất. Hai tác phẩm xếp ngay sau đó về số lượng đề cử là “American Sniper” của đạo diễn Clint Eastwood và “The Imitation Game” với tám đề cử mỗi phim.
Một trong những bất ngờ lớn nhất là số lượng đề cử của “American Sniper” – tác phẩm vốn chỉ mới xuất hiện và vắng bóng trong nhiều giải thưởng tiền Oscar thời gian vừa qua.
Nam tài tử điển trai Bradley Cooper đã vượt qua hai ứng cử viên sáng giá là David Oyelowo (phim Selma) và Jake Gyllenhaal (Nightcrawler) để cạnh tranh tượng vàng Nam chính với Steve Carell (Foxcatcher), Benedict Cumberbatch (The Imitation Game), Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) và Michael Keaton (Birdman).
Ở hạng mục nữ, hai người đẹp Jennifer Aniston (Cake) và Amy Adams (Big Eyes) đã vắng mặt dù được đánh giá cao tại Quả Cầu Vàng. Năm cái tên cuối cùng trong danh sách là Marion Cotillard (Two Days One Night), Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything), Julianne Moore (Still Alice), Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) và Reese Witherspoon (Wild).
Mất 12 năm để thực hiện, bộ phim “Boyhood” của đạo diễn Richard Linklater nhận được sáu đề cử, trong đó có Phim hay nhất. Những bộ phim sẽ cạnh tranh cho danh hiệu cao quý nhất kể trên là “American Sniper”, “Birdman”, “Boyhood”, “The Grand Budapest Hotel”, “The Imitation Game”, “Selma”, “The Theory of Everything” và “Whiplash”.
Meryl Streep tiếp tục làm dày bảng vàng thành tích với đề cử Nữ diễn viên phụ trong “Into the Woods”. Đây đã là lần thứ 19 huyền thoại sống này nhận được đề cử Oscar về diễn xuất. Một kỷ lục khác là việc ngôi sao 84 tuổi Robert Duvall được đề cử với vai Nam phụ trong “The Judge”. Đây là đề cử thứ bảy trong sự nghiệp ngôi sao “The Godfather” và biến ông trở thành nam diễn viên được đề cử già nhất trong lịch sử Oscar.
Lễ trao giải Oscar lần thứ 87 sẽ chính thức được tổ chức vào ngày 22/2/2015 tại nhà hát Dolby, với nam diễn viên hài Neil Patrick Harris làm người dẫn chương trình.
